The Quality Manager oversees all brewery QA/QC operations in the lab and on the production floor. This position manages the development of sampling plans, testing, data collection and analysis, and the sensory program. The Quality Manager is involved in research and development projects targeted towards the continuous improvement of our product.  Responsible for reporting data trends to other production managers and works closely with the Head Brewer and Packaging Manager to mitigate quality related issues and identify root causes. The Quality Manager is a member of the leadership team and manages the QA/QC staff.

Requirements: 21 years of age or older; Bachelor of Science in biology, chemistry or food science or other related discipline; work experience in a laboratory setting; knowledge of brewing, fermentation or food science; strong knowledge of microbiology, including aseptic technique.  Strong analytical skills along with the ability to build spreadsheets.  Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Manufacturing, quality control and/or brewery experience is strongly preferred.
Job Description – Quality Manager

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for daily/weekly logistics and fulfillment support to all brewery operations including the building and loading of all distributor purchase orders for pick up. Specific duties include maintaining inventory records; working with managers to fulfill daily/weekly needs of raw goods; keeping warehouse, cooler shipping/receiving areas organized and clean; receiving shipments. Additionally, the Warehouse Specialist works with the Packaging Department as needed – packaging beer, wrapping pallets, catching cans.

Requirements: 21 years of age or older, high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and organizational skills, positive attitude and self-motivation to take initiative, clean driving record. Previous work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting and forklift experience are strongly preferred. Must be able to team lift 170 lbs multiple times per work shift. The standard hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 11:00 am – 7 pm and Friday 9 am – 5 pm, but this person must be flexible as these hours may shift depending on a number of variables.
