When you haven't seen the sun in days... feels like weeks... and the clouds part. You hit the patio. Hard.

Today we tapped our newest #FreeTheGrowler beer - an ESB!
Drinkability is a critical component of an Extra Special Bitter (ESB). Our ESB really highlights the malt character. Aromas include earthy, bready, biscuit, and lightly toasty. It has mild-moderate sweetness with just enough bitterness to balance it out. It’s a very sessionable beer, but the full body makes it feel like a meal in a glass. Enjoy it while it lasts - only at our taproom!
Days like this make us want to cuddle up on the couch with a warm blanket and a cup of... coffee. Or is it beer? There's no way to know.

We are still hiring for seasonal bartenders! If you want to be part of Team Danger and have serving experience, apply on our website. *Link in bio.*

Today we are tapping our Pink Boots brew, Shatter the Ceiling IPA!
Shatter the Ceiling refers to the invisible barrier to upward progress that many women experience across multiple fields, and efforts to both call attention to it, and work to remove it. The intention for this beer was to have a darker, hazier IPA-type beer that would showcase the Pink Boots Hop Blend. Special B was included to give the color, and also to potentially provide a little raisin flavor. A portion of the proceeds from this beer with go to the Pink Boots Society. Barley's Angels Duluth-Superior helped us come up with the name!

As a member of the Alliance of MN Craft Breweries, we're working to #FreeTheGrowler not only for the 5 breweries that are deemed “too successful” to sell them but for the many local breweries that will someday hit the cap too. The #mnleg should support ALL MN breweries, right?
