Our Orange Pale Ale starts as a classic “North Shore Style” pale ale, with a bold hop aroma and bitterness supported by a slightly caramelly maltiness. It is a bitter beer at 75 IBUs and it finishes dry on the palate. Cascade, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops were used for bittering and aroma to highlight their citrusy flavors. The addition of dried orange peel lends a subtle but rich orange citrus note with a hint of bitterness. The orange angle leans more towards warming holiday spices rather than fresh zest.
