We have aged our Baltic Porter in Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrels. Baltic Porter is a rich, crisp, and warming lager for the winter. It is very dark with a chocolate and roasted coffee aroma. This beer is somewhat sweet with a very full body and higher than usual abv at 7.5%. The lager fermentation keeps this beer tasting crisp and clean without too much ester or fruitiness. The extra barrel-aging adds notes of vanilla and oak.
**Barrel-Aged Baltic Porter is only available at our taproom in Two Harbors and will not be distributed. It is only available on tap and in 750ml mini growlers. We will not fill 64oz growlers. This is a very special beer! Come and get it.
