ROAD WARRIOR CHRIS

Do you live in North Central/West Central Minnesota? If so, you may have seen this guy slinging beer at your local liquor store, bar, or restaurant. Chris Pundsack is one of the most genuine, nicest, and tallest guys you will ever meet and is an indispensable part of our sales team. Here’s a little more about Chris.

What do you do here?
I am the Central MN Brewery Representative. I am responsible for the sales of Castle Danger beer throughout North Central and West Central MN.

How long have you been working with us?
I have been with the brewery for 3 glorious years.

Why were you interested in working for Castle Danger?
I was looking for a career in sales and I like beer! I had been a CDB fan prior to working here, so the stars definitely aligned when I saw the job opening.

What is your favorite part about your job?
Probably being a part of the continued growth and distribution footprint of the Brewery. It’s really fun be a part of a small company with our growth. I’m a very competitive person and I love experiencing the rapid progress we’ve made in the past three years, especially in my territory.

What is your favorite Castle Danger beer? What is your favorite beer outside of Castle Danger?
Mosaic Fresh Hop IPA when it’s available. Otherwise, my go-to is 17-7 Pale Ale (I may or may not be drinking a 17-7 right now). My favorite beer outside of CDB is probably Moon Man from New Glarus Brewing Co.

What do you do for fun outside of work?
Hunt, fish, camp, golf, and parenting is fun too right?? (My loving wife asked me to include her as well.)

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A pro football or basketball player.

Who was your favorite music group in high school? What about today?
I’ve never really had a favorite band. What I listen to really depends on the day, and I like all genres. If I had to choose, I would say Foo Fighters, Brantley Gilbert, and The Highwaymen come to mind.

Do you have any phobias? If so, what are they?
Nothing comes to mind for phobias… other than becoming allergic to beer. That would be terrible.

If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Various burrito/enchilada platters.
*Quite possibly the best answer we could have imagined for this question.*

Describe one crazy moment or memory you’ve had at Castle Danger.
When the sales team was up in Fargo a year or so ago doing a market blitz, we met a guy at a tap takeover that was legitimately named Castle Danger. He had the drivers license and everything to prove it. Needless to say we bought him a beer… or 3.

Please give this man a high five or a honk the next time you see him out CRUSHING IT in Central MN. Our distribution territory and our brewery family would have a big hole in it if we didn’t have Chris. Cheers to more wins and endless burrito platters!
